In a somewhat bizarre press-conference tangent, Ravens coach John Harbaugh went out of his way to channel Donald Trump after training camp practice.

Harbaugh precluded his comments by making a point about the NFL needing more practice time for officials, pertaining to what he felt was a missed intentional grounding call in Baltimore's preseason opener. He explained that he thinks the NFL and the referees both want added time for the refs to learn the ropes. He discussed the two sides not getting along, suggested they should, since there's a solution he thinks is mutually beneficial.

Then he jumped to politics, comparing it to government, and then it got weird.

“Go eat your free lunch, and then go sit in your corner and don't solve anything, and who suffers? All of us suffer because they can't get along,” Harbaugh said. “I’m going Trump here.

"Build a wall; it’s not that hard,” he continued. “If you don’t have a border, you don’t have a country. You're not a country without a border, right? At the same time, we’ve got 12 to 15 million hard-working people here. Give them a shot! Give them a chance to become a citizen so they're paying taxes.

"All of us know that it’s not that complicated. But this side doesn’t want to solve it and neither does this side. Neither one of them wants to solve the problem. Solve the problem! It'd be done that fast.”

Make America great again, coach. But...maybe focus on the Ravens, first.
