Helen Fowler spent all of her 85 years rooting for the Yankees, but there was one pinstriped player she could never get herself to root for and her obituary serves as a final shot at the polarizing Alex Rodriguez.

The notice ran in The Star-Ledger of Newark and includes the standard mention of her life and family, and the obituary's author slipped in that Fowler was “a lifelong Yankees fan, with the exception of Alex Rodriguez.”

While Rodriguez’s strong season after sitting out 2014 with a suspension has forced many New Yorkers to accept the star back into the fold, Fowler stood strong against the performance-enhanced star.
