Deion Sanders Reflects On Output Of Star Colorado Son Shilo

The Hall of Famer gets candid about his kid.

During a new conversation with Zero 2 Sixty Podcast host Matt McChesney, a former NFL guard, Hall of Fame defensive end/wide receiver-turned-Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders spoke about his son Shilo's play.

Previous to both Sanders' tenure at Colorado, the six-foot grad student safety played under his pops at Jackson State from 2021-22.

"The attitude that Shilo brings in the secondary when he's on the field, off the field, you've seen it in the UCLA game. When he's off the field, things go crazy," Deion Sanders said. "He missed a couple of games with a big a lacerated kidney last year... We know what he's about when he's on the field.

"The thing about this young man, he never complains," Sanders raved. "He [doesn't] point the finger. And he's had four different coordinators in four years. And that's because we always want to up it, you know, and the coordinators that he had at Jackson [State, where Sanders also coached his son] are here you know, Coach [Michael] Pollock and [assistant coach/wide receivers coach] Brett [Bartolone]... they're here, so it's it's been phenomenal for him to be successful with four different schemes but he does not complain and and he has a tremendous relationship with Pat and I can't wait to see what they do because I can see the creativity and the relationship that they have is going to be phenomenal."
