Matt Bernstein Reacts to Mike Vrabel to Badgers Rumors, “He’s No Joke”

Bleav in Badgers discusses the potential that Matt Vrabel is joining the Badgers staff.

The Wisconsin Badgers could be getting a giant of a coach, at least according to recent rumors. Former NFL head coach Mike Vrabel did not land another job, which is odd, but it could open the door for his return to the collegiate level.

On Bleav Network's Bleav in Badgers, Matt Perkins and Matt Bernstein are joined by Badgers strength coach Brady Collins to weigh in on the possibility that Vrabel could come over in a consultant role.

"Is there going to be a new coach added or a new consultant added to the Badgers? All I see is that we might get a guy who played for the Patriots and was a coach in the NFL. I don't want to lose everyone. I guess it's coming out. But Vrabel might be part of the Badger coaching staff. If you know that, you don't have to tell."

Bernstein is attempting to get some sort of information out of Brad Collings, who joked by saying, "He can be my assistant."

Vrabel is a proven winner and was instrumental in bringing the Tennessee Titans into AFC relevance. He could join head coach Luke Fickell, who he played with as well.

"Yeah. I just think it's fascinating  I didn't know this, but they played together. It's another whole new dynamic. That's what makes coach really dynamic is he's I feel like open to having these guys come in, help. And Vrabel is no joke, he's proven success.

Vrabel is no joke. He is a 3-time Super Bowl Champion, a winning coach, and someone who could add perspective to help Coach Fickell in a myriad of ways.
