The New York Giants Are Missing Daniel Jones

The Giants might be missing Daniel Jones as we head into the last game of the season, Bob Papa and Carl Banks share what's next for New York.

New York Giants commentators Bob Papa and Carl Banks talked about why the Giants have not been as successful in close games this year as they were last year. On a recent episode of the Bleav in Giants podcast, Papa mentioned Daniel Jones not being quarterback as the reason for New York's struggles down the stretch.

"One of the reasons why the Giants won a lot of these tight games last year is because Daniel Jones played great, and Daniel Jones, when he is playing well, is better than the two Giants quarterbacks," said Papa. "Look, he won a road playoffs game, which is something that hasn't happened since 2011."

Papa suggests that Giants fans who might be hoping for a quarterback change this offseason should show patience with Jones, who threw for 3,000 yards and rushed 700 yards last season.

The Giants are five-point underdogs to the Eagles this weekend, according to BetOnline.
