Will Raheem Morris have the Dan Campbell effect?

Atlanta is getting a great motivator in Raheem Morris, who will bring the best out of his players. The team signed Morris to a five-year deal after letting go of Arthur Smith at the end of the season.

Raheem Morris will be the head coach of the Falcons next season, and Atlanta hopes he will inject new energy into the locker room. Will McFadden and former Atlanta player Ovie Mughelli talked about the new hire on the latest Bleav in Falcons podcast episode.

“Now everyone is trying to get that Dan Campbell effect. Somebody who can connect with the players and fire them up because you have seen that that works in Detroit. Yeah, they have some talent, but he has brought the best out of their talent. You see what he has done in LA with the Rams; these guys have gotten better with Raheem. The players love him. The players, the coach, there is not one person that doesn’t say Raheem should have had a head coaching job.”

Morris has some experience as a head coach and is widely recognized as one of the best defensive coordinators in the league. With so many big names on the coaching market, Morris is not a flashy hire this offseason, but he is a sure bet to be popular in the locker room. Atlanta has talented young players whose full potential has yet to be unleashed.
