August, 35, a native of Beaumont, Texas, became involved in street fighting because of his gang affiliation when his mother passed away during his sophomore year of high school. Driven by an unwavering determination and an increasing desire to achieve more, he took the pivotal decision to take up boxing.
August (10-1-1, 5 KOs) is presently on a five-fight winning streak after defeating the unbeaten Brandon Martin( 7-1-0) via unanimous decision. “I don't talk very much. I’m all about that action!
