ORLANDO, Fla. — On Friday, December 15, at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, professional boxer Andre August will take on Jake "The Problem Child" Paul, 26, from Cleveland, Ohio. Out of all the opponents Paul has faced in his career, August possesses the most KOs and experience.

“I’m a professional boxer and I want to be world champion, so I need to pursue the path towards greatness against people who have been boxing their whole life,” said Paul(7-1, 4 KOs) in media reports.

“So far, my entire boxing career has been on pay-per-view, but now it’s about more than business. Now I want to build my experience in the ring against seasoned fighters. I’m coming to prove my greatness on Friday, December 15th for the world to see. Andre August is going to sleep and he don’t need a Celsius to wake him up. Does your coach tell you that I dropped him in sparring too? Or did he not tell you?’’ he added.

August, 35, a native of Beaumont, Texas, became involved in street fighting because of his gang affiliation when his mother passed away during his sophomore year of high school. Driven by an unwavering determination and an increasing desire to achieve more, he took the pivotal decision to take up boxing.

August (10-1-1, 5 KOs) is presently on a five-fight winning streak after defeating the unbeaten Brandon Martin( 7-1-0) via unanimous decision. “I don't talk very much. I’m all about that action! Jake Paul has the money, the fame, the team and the resources but he doesn’t have my hunger,” said August in media reports.

“When that bell rings, I am going to go straight to Jake Paul and ring his bell and send him back to YouTube for good. I’m going to shock the world. I’m going to put him down. I’m tired of the talk. All that talk is over with,” he continued.

As part of a special championship feature on the Paul vs. August card, MVP's Shadasia "The Sweet Terminator" Green will challenge Franchón Crews-Dezurn for the WBC super middleweight title. This will be MVP's most significant women's championship fight as the organization strives to create equity throughout the sport.
