The New York Jets are reportedly interested in Dalvin Cook's services, according to KSTP's Darren Wolfson.

"A new team that I've heard is definitely interested is the New York Jets," Wolfson said Tuesday on The Mackey & Judd Show.

"You look at their running back position situation. Breece Hall we think will be back Week 1. The Jets have enormous expectations with Aaron Rodgers. Well, they could use an upgrade at the running back position."

Wolfson added that Dallas is a team that he's "heard, at least internally, has kicked around the option of adding Dalvin."

If the Vikings keep Cook on his current contract, his cap hit is $14.1 million in 2023.

If the Vikings cut Cook, his cap hit drops to $5.1 million.

If the Vikings trade Cook, his cap hit drops to $3.1 million.

"I still will be surprised, I guess, if the Vikings cut him here in June. If it's like July 27, OK, I get it," Wolfson continued. "But how does it benefit the Vikings to cut him right now? Why not exhaust all trade options until a trade is not in play?"
