Notre Dame announces kickoff times for home games on 2022 football schedule

We have a clearer idea of what the Notre Dame football schedule looks like for the upcoming 2022 season.

Notre Dame announced the kickoff times for its home games this fall, which includes six games in South Bend.

The Fighting Irish open their home schedule in Week 2 on Sept. 10 against Marshall and will kick off at 2:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC.

Notre Dame plays three other home games starting at 2:30 p.m., all broadcast by NBC, including against Cal on Sept. 17, UNLV on Oct. 22, and Boston College on Nov. 19.

This year's Shamrock Series takes place in Las Vegas against BYU, but counts as a home game on the NBC network and is set for 7:30 p.m. Eastern.

Notre Dame also hosts a pair of national primetime games this season, including against Stanford on Oct. 15 and presumptive College Football Playoff favorite Clemson on Nov. 5. Both games will begin at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC.

Notre Dame will announce the times for its away games at a later date.

Last season, the Fighting Irish finished with an 11-2 overall record and ended the year with a close 37-35 loss to Big 12 runner-up Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl.

Marcus Freeman comes into the fall in his first full season as Notre Dame head coach after Brian Kelly left the school for LSU this offseason.

Sept. 10 vs. Marshall, 2:30 p.m.

Sept. 17 vs. Cal, 2:30 p.m.

Oct. 8 vs. BYU (Las Vegas), 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 15 vs. Stanford, 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 22 vs. UNLV, 2:30 p.m.

Nov. 5 vs. Clemson, 7:30 p.m.

Nov. 19 vs. Boston College, 2:30 p.m.
