It looks like Sam Pittman is making himself right at home in Arkansas, judging by the very prominent sculpture the Razorbacks football coach just put up.

Pittman posted pictures of the statue, which he commissioned to look over the lake beside his house in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Pittman's new sculpture appears to be a homage to the "Slobbering Hog" version of the Razorbacks logo that fans should remember from the 1994 basketball season, when Arkansas won the NCAA national championship.

That team was just three points away from going undefeated in the regular season and beat No. 6 Duke in the title game, finishing 31-3 overall.

Here is the new statue in all its glory.

Pittman reportedly bought the lakeside estate in September for about $2 million, following a successful season with the Razorbacks in 2021.

Arkansas outpaced preseason expectations by going 8-4 in the regular season and winning a ninth game against Penn State in a two-TD victory in the Outback Bowl.

That, despite playing what was one of the toughest schedules in college football. And should be again as the Razorbacks look ahead to another grueling SEC West slate.

But judging by the Razorbacks coach's purchases, it appears he expects to stick around for a while and help build Arkansas into a contender in the SEC.
