AEW Dynamite Results & Video: The Young Bucks Almost Take Out Tony Schiavone

AEW Dynamite goes down tonight from the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas, and we've got you covered with live results.

During last week's episode of Dynamite, Tony Khan announced that AEW Big Business will be taking place inside TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on March 13. Mercedes Moné is expected to attend that show, even though she hasn't been advertised as of yet. There have also been reports floating around that Kazuchika Okada is expected to sign with AEW.

While those are two exciting acquisitions for AEW, there's some other matters to address for tonight's episode of Dynamite.

WWE News: Huge Change In Plans Possible For Friday Night SmackDown This Week

The February 14 episode of AEW Dynamite will feature a Texas Death Match with reigning AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy taking on one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions Matt Taven. We'll also see Adam Copeland continue his quest to take the TNT Championship from Christian Cage when he goes one-on-one with Daniel Garcia.

Following the heinous assault of Sting, his sons, and Darby Allin last week, The Young Bucks take on Top Flight. What devious tactics will Matthew & Nicholas Jackson have up their sleeves this week?

Plus, former NJPW Strong Women's Champion Willow Nightingale will take on Skye Blue, and the Blackpool Combat Club's Jon Moxley will meet Dax Harwood of FTR.

Of course, there's also the fallout of last week's time limit draw between Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland. Both men will challenge AEW World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe in a triple threat match at AEW Revolution on March 3. Tonight's Dynamite show is also set to feature a "movie premiere" courtesy of "Timeless" Toni Storm.

AEW Dynamite Results (February 14, 2024)

The pyro goes off and we're starting things with a singles match between former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and Dax Harwood.

Jon Moxley vs. Dax Harwood

They tied up and Mox planted a smooch on Harwood, much to the delight of Tazz on commentary. Harwood responded with stiff chops. Soon, Moxley would turn that kiss into a bite, but Harwood continued to lay in chops and strikes.

Moxley got in a figure four later on in the match. Dax got out of it and the two traded slaps until they both fell to the mat. Harwood landed a superplex, then locked in a Sharpshooter.

Moxley got out of it and eventually sunk in a choke and put Dax to sleep.

Winner: Jon Moxley

After the match, Moxley refused to let go of the choke. Cash Wheeler ran out and started pummeling Moxley. Claudio Castagnoli showed up and flattened Wheeler with the Neutralizer.

Backstage, Don Callis was with Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs. Callis announced that at AEW Revolution on March 3, it'll be Takeshita taking on Will Ospreay in a battle of faction members.

Wardlow vs. Barrett Brown

This was a squash match won by Wardlow with his Powerbomb finisher.

Winner: Wardlow

Footage aired of The Young Bucks arriving to the arena on a jet. The two were wearing the same blood-stained suits they wore to attack Sting, his sons, and Darby Allin.

Adam Copeland vs. Daniel Garcia

Copeland caught Garcia midair and landed a shoulder breaker. Later on, he mocked Garcia's dance. Copeland then took a fan's sunglasses, wore them, and broke them. Copeland was definitely heeling it up for this match in particular, likely sending a message to the TNT Champion Christian Cage.

Back from the commercial break, Copeland landed a big boot. Garcia met Copeland on the top rope, but Adam yanked his arm down on the top turnbuckle. Garcia then cut off Copeland on the top rope and landed a dragon screw.

Copeland went for the Spear, but Garcia got his knee up and almost got a three-count with a Jacknife pin. Killswitch and Nick Wayne ended up interfering and attacked both Copeland and Garcia.

Christian Cage made his way out and went to grab a chair, but Daddy Magic interrupted him. Killswitch ended up laying out Daddy Magic. Cage wanted to land a Conchairto, but Copeland blocked him.

Nick Wayne's mother hit Copeland with a lowblow. Nick hit Wayne's World on Copeland. Cage then set Copeland up for a Conchairto and he hit it. By the time Daniel Garcia got back in the ring it was too late.

Adam Copeland & Daniel Garcia fought to a no contest.

A recap of last week's time limit draw between Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland played. The AEW World Champion Samoa Joe then made his way to the ring.

Joe said AEW rewards mediocrity by putting Swerve and Hangman in a world title match despite neither man winning their number one contender bout. Swerve Strickland, along with Prince Nana walked out.

Swerve said he thinks things are starting to get personal between he and Joe. Strickland told Joe he's on his way to becoming an all-time great. He urged Joe to put respect on his name. He guaranteed he will take the world title from Joe.

Hangman Adam Page then made his way out. He claimed last week's decision by Tony Khan was "horses***."  He told Joe the world title match should've been a singles match. Page says Swerve doesn't deserve one more second of his time after everything he put him through. Joe vowed to whoop both Hangman and Swerve at AEW Revolution.

The Toni Storm premiere aired. She talked about her past friendship with Deonna Purrazzo. After the film, Purrazzo said Storm talks too much and that she was going to break her arm.

The Young Bucks vs. Top Flight

Top Flight sent The Young Bucks to the outside. Matthew & Nicholas Jackson got out of the way, but eventually Dante and Darius Martin landed planchas on their opponents. The Young Bucks regained control going into a commercial break.

Darius tried making the tag to Dante, but he was cut off briefly. An enzuigiri allowed Darius to tag in Dante. The athleticism of Dante was on full display, and he landed a huge springboard crossbody for a two-count. Stereo sunset flips for Top Flight, but Matthew Jackson faked a kick on Dante and landed a DDT.

Dante got back on track and tagged in his brother. Darius used his brother for leverage on a tornado DDT.  Darius landed a Spanish Fly on Matthew, but only got a two-count. On the outside, Nicholas took out Dante. With the referee distracted, Matthew hit a low blow on Darius.

Nicholas was tagged in and inevitably pinned Darius for the win after the team hit the EVP Trigger.

Winners: The Young Bucks

Tony Schiavone was in the ring to interview the EVPs. Matthew bragged that he and his brother are undefeated in 2024. Matthew said The Young Bucks are rightful number one contenders and even had their own graphic.

Tony said what The Young Bucks did to Sting and his sons last week was "despicable." Nicholas said he is fining Tony $1,000 before shoulder bumping Schiavone down. The Young Bucks teased hitting Schiavone with an EVP Trigger before Darby Allin ran out.

Darby said he had to wait for his chance while The Young Bucks hired their friends. Allin hinted that the only EVP who had the brains to see something in him was Cody Rhodes, although Darby didn't namedrop the WrestleMania 40 headliner. Darby accepted the AEW Revolution challenge, which means it'll be Sting and Darby Allin vs. The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Renee Young was with The Bang Bang Scissor Gang backstage. Jay White said the faction has new merch, and gold, but they've yet to nail their cohesiveness. They revealed a 10-man tag match for AEW Rampage.

Willow Nightingale vs. Skye Blue

Willow lifted Skye up and slammed her down. She went for another scoop slam, but Skye reversed. Willow ended up slamming her back down to the canvas. Skye slapped Willow, who became enraged and slammed her head on the turnbuckle.

Willow nailed Skye with The Pounce, which sent Skye to the outside. While Skye took over during the break, Willow rebounded and gave her a hip attack in the corner. She followed up with a spinebuster.

Skye got in a combination on Willow for a two-count. She went for a Dragon Sleeper, but Willow used the turnbuckle to get her off. Skye landed a powerbomb with Willow perched on the top rope. Skye landed Code Blue, but Stokely Hathaway interfered, allowing Willow to reverse and eventually hit Babe With the Powerbomb to secure the pinfall.

Winner: Willow Nightingale

Texas Death Match: Orange Cassidy vs. Matt Taven

Taven faked calling for help early, which distracted Cassidy. A dropkick landed for Taven. Cassidy threw his opponent into the guard rail twice. Taven tried returning the favor, but Cassidy leaped over the barricade. The two brawled in the crowd going into a commercial break.

Back from the break, Taven landed an Elbow Drop on Cassidy onto a table off the stage. Taven then landed a suplex on his opponent on the table. Cassidy was bloodied.

Inside the ring, Taven landed a DDT as the referee began his 10-count. Taven pulled out another table, but Cassidy landed a suicide dive. With Cassidy on the outside near the table, Taven dove, but Cassidy moved and Matt went right through the table.

Cassidy took out a Valentine's Day chocolate box courtesy of Chuck Taylor, who wasn't in attendance. The box had thumbtacks, but Orange was shoved onto the tacks. Taven then went for a splash, but Cassidy moved and Taven went right onto the tacks. Cassidy then landed a DDT on the tacks.

The AEW International Champion grabbed a chain, but Mike Bennett ran out and attacked him. Bennett grabbed multiple chairs, but Trent Beretta walked out and nailed Bennett with a pipe. Taven threw a chair at Trent's head. Cassidy hit a Beach Break on Taven right onto chairs and tacks.

Cassidy knocked Taven out with the Superman Punch while a chain was wrapped around his fist. Roderick Strong tried interfering, but Trent saved Cassidy, who won the match after Taven couldn't beat the 10-count.

Winner: Orange Cassidy
