Francis Ngannou to Receive Bigger Payday than Entire UFC Career for Tyson Fury Boxing Match

Francis Ngannou is set to make an astonishing amount of money for his boxing super-fight with Tyson Fury.

Francis Ngannou has officially confirmed that he will be making more money from his upcoming boxing match with Tyson Fury on October 28 than he earned throughout his entire UFC career.

Ngannou made this revelation during an appearance on the July 17 episode of "The MMA Hour." When asked whether his boxing purse surpassed his total earnings in the UFC, he responded with "definitely yes."

"Compared to what I was making for my UFC [fights], it's day and night. ... It's life changing. ... What I did make in my last [UFC] fight doesn't even count; it's not close."

"By Multiples": Francis Ngannou's Manager Confirms Boxing Purse Is More Than Career UFC Earnings

Ngannou's manager Marquel Martin confirmed this fact on the July 12 episode of "The MMA Hour", telling Ariel Helwani:

"You know what? Let's just say this: The bag is so big he may just drop it on the way to the bank. ...This is life changing. This is exactly what we planned and visualized, so we're happy.

"Oh my god, [he's getting paid more than his career UFC earnings]. I mean, by far. By multiples. Just to make [this money in the UFC], even while being a champion, he would've had to fight multiple times."

Internet personality and pro boxer Jake Paul also reminded fans that Ngannou is receiving a minimum of $10 million for the fight:

Ngannou should cement his name alongside Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey for the highest earning fighters outside of the UFC.
