Major AEW Championship Changes Hands During AEW Dynamite (Video)

A new AEW champion has been crowned.

A big title change took place at AEW Dynamite this week.

AEW has a slew of championships featured on its programming. One of the marquee titles was defended inside the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The AEW Continental Championship was at stake, and the result was a title change.

During the March 20th episode of AEW Dynamite, Kazuchika Okada challenged Eddie Kingston for the hardware.

Ultimately, it was "The Rainmaker" who captured the title to win an AEW championship for the first time in his already illustrious career.

After the match, Pac made his way out. He stood at the ramp and made it clear that he's gunning for his opponent's newly-minted hardware. Perhaps we're in for Okada vs. Pac at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view on April 21st.

That match has not been made official at this time.

Pac and Okada have already developed a bit of a beef. "The Bastard" teamed with Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo during last week's episode of AEW Dynamite, themed "Big Business" in a losing effort.
