VIDEO: Anthony Joshua Knocks Out Robert Helenius With One Punch

That's a wrap for Joshua vs. Helenius.

The last-minute heavyweight tilt between Anthony Joshua and Robert Helenius is in the history books.

Joshua, the former boxing heavyweight champion, was expected to meet Dillian Whyte inside the O2 Arena in London, England on August 12. Whyte was pulled from the card after being flagged by VADA. Whyte has insisted that he didn't knowingly ingest a banned substance.

Helenius stepped in for Whyte in an attempt to derail Joshua's comeback journey. Joshua accepted the fight, as he wanted to secure a solid victory before going forward with a potential year-end showdown against Deontay Wilder.

It was clear early in the fight that the strategy set by Joshua and his coach Derrick James was to exercise patience and utilize the jab. AJ had Joshua backing up to the ropes near the end of the third round.

Fans have known Joshua to be hesitant in his fights, and this one was no exception. Helenius was able to swell up Joshua's left eye a bit from his own jabs. Joshua continued to try to his range, but he didn't explode in the first few rounds with combinations.

Suddenly in the seventh round, Joshua landed a right hand that knocked Helenius out. Here are video highlights of the Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius finish:
