The heavyweight rematch between Zhilei Zhang and Joe Joyce is in the books.

The main event of a card promoted by Queensberry Promotions featured the second bout between Zhang and Joyce. Back in April, Zhang scored a second-round TKO finish over Joyce to capture the WBO interim heavyweight title. Zhang battered the eye of Joyce bad enough that the fight had to be stopped at the halfway point in the first fight.

In the early going of the rematch, Joyce tried finding his range in an attempt to avoid the left hand of Zhang. Nothing much happened in the opening frame as it was very much a feeling out process.

A jab was there for Zhang early in the second stanza. He then went to the body. Joyce got in a jab of his own. Zhang moved forward and connected with a straight punch upstairs. A clean left hand landed for Zhang, which certainly caught the attention of Joyce, who fought back. A body punch was there for Zhang. Another left hand had Joyce moving back and round two was clearly for Zhang.

Joyce tried making something happen with the right hand, but Zhang popped him in the face for his efforts. Joyce's punches didn't seem to have much impact at this stage. A left hand right down the pipe landed for Zhang. It was clear that Joyce was at a speed disadvantage here, lacking the footwork and head movement to give his opponent any issues.

A massive right hand put Joyce on the canvas at the end of round three, and he could not beat the count. Zhang put an emphatic end to the Joyce chapter.
