Wrestling News: Injured WWE Superstar Reveals Preferred Time Frame for Return

Could this injured WWE superstar be on the way back soon?

One WWE superstar who has been on the shelf is giving fans hope with a timeline update.

Oftentimes when a veteran discusses the wrestling business, they'll use the classic, "This ain't ballet" line. It's a blunt reminder that injuries can and often do occur in this business. It's one of the downsides of a business that is booming at the moment, especially when it comes to WWE's massive success.

An injured member of the WWE roster has dropped a time frame for a potential return to the ring.

Appearing on the Hall of Fame podcast hosted by Booker T, WWE NXT star Nikkita Lyons revealed that she's hoping to appear on TV once again before the end of 2024.

"So, my timeline right now, it's been two months since my surgery and honestly, I feel those two months went pretty quick, at least for me cause I'm on the grind every day, but right now I'm hoping by Halloween Havoc, I'm hoping. That'll be a good time, but also by that time, it should be ready to go. I don't want to say an exact [date], 'Oh, it's gonna be here,' because with injuries it's kind of day by day. Going back to that out of sight, that's why I'm gonna stay active I'm not going nowhere."

Nikkita Lyons makes her entrance for a WWE NXT match.

Halloween Havoc takes place at the end of October annually, and Lyons would be able to return this fall if the stars align. It's been a tough road for Lyons, who had just been coming off an 11-month absence due to a torn ACL only to suffer another injury early in her return.

The good news for Lyons is that at the age of 24, time is on her side. She'll be 25 by the time she's ready for her in-ring return if her preferred time frame comes to fruition.
