UPDATE: Anthony Edwards' Current Injury Status For Grizzlies-Timberwolves Game

Anthony Edwards is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Anthony Edwards is a game-time decision (h/t Alan Horton). 

On Wednesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Memphis Grizzlies at the Target Center in Minneapolis.   

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without their best player, as All-Star guard Anthony Edwards is on the injury report.  

The former UGA star briefly left the team's last game with an injury but was able to return.

Edwards is in the middle of another fantastic season with averages of 26.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 38.4% from the three-point range in 55 games. 

The Timberwolves are among the best teams in the NBA and are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 41-17 record in 58 games.  

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Timberwolves beat the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 114-105.

In 33 minutes of playing time, Edwards had 34 points, five rebounds, five assists, four steals and one block while shooting 13/29 from the field and 4/10 from the three-point range. 

Following the Grizzlies, the Timberwolves will remain at home to host the Sacramento Kings on Friday evening at the Target Center.

As for the Grizzlies, they are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 20-38 record in 58 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and have gone 2-8 over their last ten games.
