BREAKING: Jordan Poole's Updated Status For Wizards-Clippers Game

Jordan Poole has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Washington Wizards will host the Los Angeles Clippers in Washington, D.C.  

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as NBA Champion Jordan Poole has been ruled out.    

Via The Washington Wizards: "Update: Jordan Poole is now OUT (Non-covid illness) for tonight's game. 

Bilal Coulibaly will start in his place."

Poole has played in 45 games and is averaging 16.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 41.4% from the field and 31.2% from the three-point range.    

The Wizards are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 9-37 record in their first 46 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games.

Most recently, the Wizards beat the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 118-113. 

In 33 minutes of playing time, Poole had 13 points, one rebound, three assists, two steals and one block while shooting 6/13 from the field and 1/5 from the three-point range. 

Following the Clippers, the Wizards will host the Miami Heat on Friday. 

As for the Clippers, they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 30-15 record in their first 45 games.  

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and are coming off a 118-108 loss to Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

Following the Wizards, the Clippers will travel to Michigan for a matchup with Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons on Friday evening.
