Celtics Final Injury Report And Starting Lineup Against The Knicks

The Boston Celtics have finalized their injury report and starting lineup for Sunday's game.

On Sunday night, the Boston Celtics are hosting the New York Knicks in Massachusetts. 

For the game, they have finalized their injury report and starting lineup. 

The Celtics have ruled out Malcolm Brogdon, JD Davison, Danilo Gallinari, Mfiondu Kabengele and Robert Williams III.   

Meanwhile, two-time NBA All-Star Jaylen Brown is available.

The starting lineup for the Celtics has been relayed by Underdog NBA. 

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Celtics will start Smart, White, Brown, Tatum, Horford on Sunday."

The Celtics come into the game as the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 45-19 record in 64 games. 

They are a half-game behind the Milwaukee Bucks for the first seed and 7-3 in their last ten games.  

At home, the Celtics are outstanding, with a 25-8 record in 33 games hosted in Massachusetts.  

That said, they lost 115-105 to the Brooklyn Nets (at home) on Friday night.

The Celtics blew a 28-point lead during the game.

As for the Knicks, they are one of the hottest teams in the NBA and come into the night on an eight-game winning streak (they are 9-1 in their last ten games).

Currently, they are the fifth seed in the east with a 38-27 record in 65 games. 

On the road, the Knicks have been excellent, going 19-12 in the 31 games they have played away from Madison Square Garden in New York City. 

Last season, the Knicks missed the NBA Playoffs, while the Celtics lost in Game 6 of the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors.
