UPDATE: Jamal Murray's Current Injury Status For Kings-Nuggets Game

Jamal Murray is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Jamal Murray has been ruled out (h/t Katy Winge of AltitudeTV). 

On Wednesday evening, the Denver Nuggets will host the Sacramento Kings in Colorado.  

For the game, the Nuggets could be without one of their best players, as starting point guard Jamal Murray is on the injury report. 

Via Katy Winge of AltitudeTV on Tuesday: "Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (right hamstring tendinosis) and Jamal Murray (bilateral tibia inflammation) are both questionable for tomorrow’s game against Sacramento"

Murray has played in 40 games and is averaging 20.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 41.1% from the three-point range. 

The Nuggets are coming off a 112-95 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, and Murray left the game early with an injury. 

Before exiting, the 2023 NBA Champion had three points and two rebounds while shooting 1/5 from the field in 18 minutes of playing time. 

The Nuggets enter the evening with a 36-18 record in 54 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games but are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Following the Kings, they will play their next game on February 22 when they host the Washington Wizards. 

As for the Kings, they are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 30-23 record in 53 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Following the Nuggets, they will host the San Antonio Spurs on February 22.
