Jordan Poole's Official Status For Heat-Wizards Game

Jordan Poole has been upgraded to available for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Washington Wizards will host the Miami Heat in Washington, D.C. 

For the game, the Wizards will have one of their best players in the starting lineup, as Jordan Poole has been upgraded to available.  

The former Michigan star missed the team's last game, so he returns after just a one-game absence.

Poole has played in 45 games and is averaging 16.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 41.4% from the field and 31.2% from the three-point range. 

The Wizards are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 9-38 record in their first 47 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 125-109.

Following the Heat, the Wizards will remain at home to host Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on Sunday afternoon. 

At home, they are 3-19 in 22 games played in Washington, D.C. 

As for the Heat, they are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 25-23 record in their first 48 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Sacramento Kings by a score of 115-106. 

Following the Wizards, the Heat will return home to host the Clippers on Sunday evening. 

On the road, they are 12-12 in 24 games, while they have gone 13-11 in the 24 games they have played in Miami.
