UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis' Injury Status For Raptors-Celtics Game

Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report for Friday's game.

UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out. 

On Friday evening, the Boston Celtics will host the Toronto Raptors in Massachusetts. 

For the game, the Celtics will likely be without one of their best players, as 2018 NBA All-Star Kristaps Porzingis is listed as doubtful.

Porzingis has played in 22 games so far this season and is averaging 20.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.7 blocks per contest while shooting 53.9% from the field and 34.2% from the three-point range.  

The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 24-6 record in their first 30 games.  

They are 9-1 over their last ten games and in the middle of a four-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Celtics beat the Detroit Pistons (in overtime) by a score of 128-122. 

In 36 minutes of playing time, Porzingis had 35 points, eight rebounds, one assist and one steal while shooting 13/21 from the field and 3/9 from the three-point range. 

Following the Raptors, the Celtics will travel to San Antonio to face off against the Spurs on Sunday. 

At home, the Celtics are a perfect 15-0. 

As for the Raptors, they are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 12-18 record in their first 30 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently beat Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards by a score of 132-102. 

Following the Celtics, the Raptors will travel to Michigan to face off against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday evening.
