The starting lineups for both teams have been announced by Underdog NBA.

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Wolves will start Conley, Edwards, Alexander-Walker, Towns, Gobert on Wednesday."

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Raptors will start Schroder, Anunoby, Barnes, Siakam, Poeltl on Wednesday."

The Timberwolves are coming off a year where they were the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 42-40 record.

However, they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in five games).

Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert make up a very talented roster, but the Timberwolves haven't won a playoff series since the 2004 season.

As for the Raptors, they are coming off a season where they were the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 41-41 record.

They lost to the Chicago Bulls in the play-in tournament, so they missed the NBA playoffs.

The franchise won the 2019 NBA Championship but has only won just one playoff series since that season.

Over the offseason, the Raptors lost Fred VanVleet, who signed a deal with the Houston Rockets, but they still have a solid core with two-time NBA All-Star Pascal Siakam, Scottie Barnes and O.G. Anunoby.
