Anthony Edwards Reveals His Favorite NBA Player Of All-Time

Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves) shared who his favorite NBA player is.

On Sunday evening, the 2024 NBA All-Star Game will take place in Indiana.

Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves) will be playing in his second All-Star Game, and he has established himself as arguably a top-ten player in the league.

The All-Stars had their annual public practice on Saturday afternoon, and Chris Haynes of the NBA on TNT and Bleacher Report spoke to Edwards, who revealed that Kevin Durant is his favorite player of all time (h/t ClutchPoints).

Edwards: "Kevin Durant is my favorite player of all time, of course. Definitely, just being around him is super cool."

Edwards was the first pick in the 2020 NBA Draft out of Georgia and is averaging 26.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 38.6% from the three-point range in 52 games.

He has helped lead the Timberwolves to the NBA playoffs in each of the previous two seasons, and they are currently the first seed in the Western Conference with a 39-16 record in 55 games.

They went into the All-Star break in the middle of a four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Durant is among the greatest players of all time and is still one of the best at 35 years old.

The future Hall of Famer is averaging 28.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 53.8% from the field and 44.3% from the three-point range in 48 games.

Durant won the 2014 MVP Award when Edwards was only 12 years old.
