BREAKING: Milwaukee Bucks And Philadelphia 76ers Make A Trade

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Bucks and 76ers have made a trade.

On Thursday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in Wisconsin.     

Before the game, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported that the team has made a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers to acquire Patrick Beverley.    

Via Charania: "Milwaukee is acquiring Patrick Beverley from the 76ers for Cam Payne and a second-round pick, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium."

Beverley also confirmed the news (via his podcast's X account).

Beverley has played in 47 games and is averaging 6.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per contest while shooting 43.2% from the field and 32.1% from the three-point range. 

In addition to the 76ers, he has also spent time with the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls over his 12 seasons in the league.  

Right now, the Bucks are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 33-18 record in 51 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

As for Payne, he has played in 47 games and is averaging 6.2 points, 1.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 45.5% from the field and 39.7% from the three-point range. 

In addition to the Bucks, he has also spent time with the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns.

The 76ers are currently the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 30-20 record in 50 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games.
