On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors are in Los Angeles facing off against the Clippers.

During the game, Chris Paul was assessed a Flagrant 1 foul.

Paul appeared to shove Daniel Theis to the ground, and the two exchanged words (Theis shoved Paul when he stood back up).

Because it was a Flagrant 1, Paul was able to stay in the game (a Flagrant 2 leads to an ejection).

Paul came into the evening with averages of 8.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 40.6% from the field and 34.3% from the three-point range in 20 games.

The Warriors are 10-13 in their first 23 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

Most recently, the Warriors lost to the Phoenix Suns by a score of 119-116 on Tuesday in Arizona.

In 30 minutes of playing time, Paul had 15 points, five rebounds, 11 assists and two steals while shooting 5/8 from the field and 3/4 from the three-point range.

Even at 38, the future Hall of Famer still remains a reliable guard.

Paul is in his first season with the franchise and has also spent time with the Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans Hornets over 19 seasons in the NBA.

Following the Clippers, the Warriors will play their next game on Saturday when they host the Brooklyn Nets.
