The Cleveland Cavaliers are off to a surprising 7-4 start to the new NBA season after defeating the New York Knicks 126-109 at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

The Knicks started the season 5-1, but have lost three out of their four games and now have a 6-4 record.

One of the biggest reasons for the blowout win for the Cavs was the play of veteran point guard Ricky Rubio.

The Cavs backup went off for 37 points and ten assists off the bench and shot an incredible 8/9 from the three-point range.

The 37 points were also a career-high at 31-years-old and in his 11th season in the league.

Rookie Evan Mobley also continued his stellar play with 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Cavs.

Over on the Knicks side, All-Star Julius Randle had 19 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in the game.
