The star of the night was Austin Reaves, who put up 35 points, six rebounds and six assists in just 30 minutes of playing time.
In addition, the former Oklahoma star shot an impressive 9/14 from the field (64%).
After the game, 19-time NBA All-Star LeBron James sent out a tweet about Reaves, which is going viral.
James tweeted: "AR YOU A BAD MUTHA...SHUT YO MOUTH!!! You toooooo TOUGH!!"
Reaves is now averaging 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest in 54 games (while shooting 51.8% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range).
He's been an important role player for the Lakers all season long and came up big in a game that was critical to their position in the standings.
With the victory, the Lakers snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 35-37 in 72 games.
They are in a three-way tie with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Utah Jazz for the ninth seed in the Western Conference.
The Lakers are 6-4 in their last ten games and are a solid 19-17 in the 36 games they have hosted at home in Los Angeles, California.
As for James, he missed his 11th straight game due to a foot injury.
The four-time NBA Champion had been in the middle of a phenomenal season with averages of 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists per contest.
On Wednesday night, the Lakers will play their next game when they host the Phoenix Suns.
