Nikola Jokic Throws Absurd Pass In Wizards-Nuggets Game

On Thursday evening, the Denver Nuggets are playing the Washington Wizards (at home) in Colorado.   

During the first half, two-time MVP Nikola Jokic made an excellent pass that got a lot of attention on social media. 

Jokic caught a rebound under the basket and immediately threw the ball to Aaron Gordon, who finished off a dunk at the other end of the floor. 

Jokic has established himself among the best passers of all time and is arguably the best in the NBA right now. 

The All-Star center entered the evening with sensational averages of 26.1 points, 12.0 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 57.7% from the field and 35.2% from the three-point range in 53 games. 

Right now, the Nuggets are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 36-19 record in 55 games.  

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game losing streak.  

Most recently, the Nuggets lost to the Sacramento Kings by a score of 102-98. 

Jokic had 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists and one block while shooting 6/17 from the field in 39 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Wizards, the Nuggets will visit the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon on Friday evening.  

As for the Wizards, they are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 9-45 record in 54 games. 

They are in the middle of an eight-game losing steak and will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday evening.
