Photo Of Kevin Durant And Steph Curry Going Viral

Steph Curry and Kevin Durant were photographed before Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors faced off at the Chase Center in San Francisco for each team's first game of the new season.

Kevin Durant played three years for the Warriors but left in free agency following the 2019 season.

Tuesday's game was his first time playing at the Chase Center since his departure from the franchise.

The Warriors gave him a tribute video, and the fans cheered loudly for the 13-time NBA All-Star before the game.

The Warriors also posted a photo of Durant with his former teammate Steph Curry, and the post is getting a lot of traction as there were over 10,000 likes in less than two hours.

They captioned the post: "Once teammates. Forever family."

During Durant's tenure with the Warriors, the team won two NBA Championships (and made the NBA Finals in all three seasons).

They beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017 and 2018, and Durant won the Finals MVP in both seasons.

However, the Warriors lost to the Toronto Raptors in 2019, and Durant got hurt during the series.

After leaving the Warriors, Durant played two and a half seasons for the Brooklyn Nets, but they only won one playoff series.

He was traded to the Suns during the middle of last season, and they finished as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.

However, they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the playoffs (in six games).

Meanwhile, the Warriors have been able to make the NBA playoffs twice and win one title since Durant left the team.
