Jaguarr, a 2017 model stallion by Dash ta Fame and out of Rosas Cantina CC, caught the eye of many barrel horse breeders. He was the product of Woodbury Performance Horses.

Alan Woodbury has long been known for breeding and raising some incredible horses. He is the registered owner of Rosas Cantina CC, better know to the world as Rosa ridden by none other than the 17 time Wrangler National Finals Qualifier, Lisa Lockhart.

Unfortunately, according to a post made on social media by Mill Iron Livestock, the young, promising stallion has been lost, entirely too soon. Mill Iron said in it's post -

"With a very heavy heart we share the news of Jaguarr's passing.

On Friday he suffered a life ending injury in a freak accident.

You meant everything to us big guy and had so much to give. A kinder, more generous soul did not exist. So much left undone, but still a world of difference made for so so many.

You’ll be missed Jag for everything you were and for what you would have surely become. We are very thankful to riding now some of the babies he has sired and know the future is bright.

Rest easy big guy."

The stallion stood at High Point Performance Horses in 2023 and had a full book. He was nominated to several incentives including the Pink, Ruby and Riata Buckles, Tomorrows Legends, Breeders Challenge, The Diamond Classic and Royal Crown just to name a few.

Jaguarr was trained and ridden by NFR qualifier and futurity standout Ryann Pedone during his futurity year. The stallion was the YETI Classic Futurity Average WPRA Incentive Reserve Champion, a finalist at the GRIDIRON Barrels Breeders Futurity, and placed in several other futurities and races.

His first foal crop was in 2021 and he was a highly sought after breeding stallion. The world will miss his presence and we offer our sincerest condolences to everyone he touched while he was here.
