Adidas Surprises North Carolina State Hoops Ahead of Final Four

Anthony Edwards and Erica Wheeler delivered adidas gear to the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

There is no brand having more fun in the NCAA than adidas. Who can blame them? Adidas is well-represented by top athletic programs that perform at a high level while celebrating all that is great about sports.

Just as adidas grabbed headlines ahead of the College Football Playoff, the brand is deep in its bag ahead of this weekend's Final Four games. Look no further than the North Carolina State Wolfpack men's and women's basketball teams, who are in the midst of historic tournament runs.

On Thursday night, adidas backed up the delivery truck to the hotels of the Wolfpack teams. NBA All-Star Anthony Anthony Edwards recorded a video for both teams that got players hyped. Meanwhile, WNBA All-Star and Indiana Fever guard Erica Wheeler was onsite in Cleveland, which sent the women's team into a frenzy.

Adidas put out a statement that it is "proud to celebrate these talented young athletes ahead of both teams’ appearances in their respective NCAA March Madness Tournament semifinals." Judging by the Wolfpack's swag bags and guest appearances, adidas meant what it said.

Both teams were gifted a variety of adidas products to celebrate. For everyone else who was pocket-watching like myself, here is a complete breakdown of the goods delivered to the student-athletes.

The Wolfpack received Anthony Edwards' signature gear (AE 1 'Best of Adi' sneakers, hoodie, shirts, and shorts). The adidas ZNE Tracksuit and Chapter Sweatsuit. The the Bad Bunny Response CL and Ultraboost sneakers. Lastly, sunglasses, Cross Body Bag, Y3 Beanie, and a Bucket Hat.

The only thing better than the fire apparel and sneakers was watching the player reactions to the surprise party. Don't mind us, as we are fully jumping on the Wolfpack bandwagon heading into tonight's and tomorrow's games.
