No matter how much time passes, the impact of Kobe Bryant on the basketball world will always be felt. Since the tragic passing of the Los Angeles Lakers legend, fans have scrambled to purchase any memorabilia of the 'Black Mamba,' they can find.

This is especially true for Bryant's iconic basketball shoes. While Nike has slowly released shoes from the Kobe sneaker line over the past three years, the demand has remained at an all-time high.

Meanwhile, adidas has brought back several retro basketball shoes once worn by Bryant. Once known as The Kobe, before being rebranded as the Crazy 1, the model has been dropped in multiple colorways.

Much to our surprise, the adidas Crazy 1 is still available in a Lakers-inspired colorway for $150 on the adidas website. Below are all the details fans must know about the throwback hoop shoes.

The Kobe was not Bryant's first signature shoe with adidas. However, the Hall of Famer did win his first two NBA championships in the model before switching to the much-maligned The Kobe 2 (we still want adidas to bring that shoe back as well).

The adidas Crazy 1 brings back fond memories for Lakers fans with its unmistakable white synthetic side panels with embossed three stripes branding. The gold mesh collar and outsole are contrasted by purple accents to complete the player-exclusive look.

The shoes are comfortable and secure thanks to its injected EVA foam midsole coupled with a torsion system. In addition, the herringbone traction pattern on the rubber outsole provides solid traction for the most explosive of players.

Adidas has released several colorways of the Crazy 1 over the past few months, and the model is likely nearing the end of its cycle before being stored away for a few more years. Fans wanting to purchase these quintessentially Y2K shoes need to act fast before they are gone for good.
