Anyone in the sneaker community can tell you that adidas has the juice right now. While all other brands cling to the past, adidas holds the keys to the future. An exciting roster of NBA players with futuristic hoop shoes is exactly what fans have wanted for years.

Of all the exciting athletes signed to adidas, none have more star power than Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards. His first signature sneaker, the adidas AE 1, launched last fall and has quickly sold out in every colorway.

Luckily for athletes and fans, they get another shot at purchasing Edwards' hoop shoes in a bold new colorway. Below is a detailed look at the adidas AE 1 'Best of Adi' and how to purchase the hoop shoes before they inevitably sell out.

The adidas AE 1 'Best of Adi' will be released at 10:00 a.m. EST on Friday, March 1. Online shoppers can purchase the sneakers for $120 in adult sizes on the adidas website and the Foot Locker app.

The 'Best of Adi' colorway features a distinctive Cloud White TPU cage contrasted by a Core Black textile upper and heel counter. Adidas branding and Edwards' signature logo pop off the shoe in a shade of Green Spark. Lastly, the rubber outsole sports a white coating.

It is easy to understand why Edwards made his second NBA All-Star Game in these shoes. The combined BOOST and Lightstrike midsole is ultra-lightweight and adds outstanding energy return on explosive moves. The rubber outsole features an aggressive traction pattern that provides all the support needed to attack the rim.

Edwards is averaging 27 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game. In addition to putting up monster numbers on the court, he has done a masterful job of marketing himself from the small market of Minnesota. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your sneaker news.
