Branson Weaver set several program records at Semistate

Congratulations to Owen Valley wrestler Branson Weaver, who was voted SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week for February 5-11.

He received more than 51 percent of the total votes for the week.

Weaver, a senior, set program records in career wins (131), season wins (40) and season pins (31) en route to finishing third at 144 pounds at the Evansville Reitz Semistate.

Penn swimmer Lily Christianson finished second in the voting after receiving more than 45 percent of the votes.
