Congratulations to Lee’s Summit boys basketball point guard/shooting guard Alex Benassi for being voted SBLive’s Missouri High School Athlete of the Week for Jan. 31-Feb. 6!
The senior dropped a team-high 22 points and added seven rebounds during a 60-48 win over Lawrence Free State last Friday.
Benassi ran away with this week's honor, receiving 85.48% of the total vote.

Kennedy Horton, Brentwood girls basketball
