St. Louis University (Missouri) five-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo will announce his decision Wednesday

Ryan Wingo had a stressful recruitment. .

The St. Louis University (Missouri) five-star wide receiver seemed torn between the Missouri Tigers and Texas Longhorns throughout the final weeks.

Leading into decision day, many speculated that Missouri was the team to beat, but in the final hours buzz grew that Wingo was headed to Austin.

Finally on Wednesday afternoon, he made it official.

Wingo chose the Longhorns.

Watch his announcement here:

Wingo is rated the nation's No. 5 overall prospect and No. 2 wide receiver in the class of 2024.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound pass-catcher is the headliner of the Texas recruiting class, but is the third five-star recruit in the group.

He joins Duncanville (Texas) five-star edge-rusher Colin Simmons and Mater Dei (California) five-star offensive tackle Brandon Backer in a group that is flirting with top-10 status nationally.
