Flippin Bobcats beat Melbourne Bearkatz 70-58 in Arkansas high school basketball game

Flippin’s Roy Dale Smyser led all scorers with 30 points as the Bobcats beat Melbourne Bearkatz 70-58 in a game at Melbourne.

Smyser’s points came on 13 field goals and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Bradie Gunther added 16. Melbourne fell to 5-4 overall while Flippin improved their record to 13-4.

Melbourne’s next game is scheduled to be played at Bay on Thursday Dec. 31 versus Bay. Flippin will host Decatur on Tuesday Jan. 5
