Piggott Mohawks edge Gosnell Pirates 34-32 in Arkansas high school basketball game

PIGGOTT HIGH SCHOOL -

Piggott Guard Emma Hooten led all scorers with 21 points as the Mohawks beat Gosnell Pirates 34-32 in a game at PIGGOTT HIGH SCHOOL.

Hooten’s points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 6 of 11 free throws during the game.

Ja’myria Jones added 10. Gosnell fell to 9-8 overall while Piggott improved their record to 6-8.

Gosnell’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Jan. 31 versus Harrisburg. Piggott will host Walnut Ridge on Monday Jan. 31
