Columbia River Chieftains defeat Lake City Timberwolves 53-34 in Idaho high school basketball game

Columbia River Forward Evan Dirksen led all scorers with 21 points as the Chieftains beat Lake City Timberwolves 53-34 in a game.

Dirksen’s points came on 7 field goals, 2 three pointers and 1 of 1 free throws during the game.

Josh Stellflug added 8. Lake City fell to 0-1 overall while Columbia River improved their record to 7-2.

Lake City’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Jan. 2 at 11:00am versus Cheney. Columbia River will host Mark Morris on Thursday Jan. 3 at 7:00pm.
