New Lothrop Hornets defeat St. Charles Bulldogs 59-48 in MI high school basketball game

New Lothrop’s Katelyn Wendling led all scorers with 27 points as the Hornets beat St. Charles Bulldogs 59-48 in a game at New Lothrop.

Wendling’s points came on 10 field goals and 7 of 7 free throws during the game.

Allison Zelinko added 19. St. Charles fell to 1-2 overall while New Lothrop improved their record to 1-0.

St. Charles’ next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Dec. 17 versus Breckenridge.
