Willmar’s Noah Slagter led all scorers with 29 points as the Cardinals beat Becker 72-66 in a game at Willmar High School.”

Slagter’s points came on 8 field goals, 2 three pointers and 7 of 9 free throws during the game.

Becker was led by Lucas Dertinger’s 22 points and Hunter Mc Calla added 20. Becker fell to 7-5 overall while Willmar improved their record to 1-0.

Becker’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jan. 19 at 7:30pm versus Mora.
