Hayfield’s Ethan Slaathaug led the way with 17 points as the Vikings beat Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms 62-44 in a game.

Slaathaug’s points came on 3 field goals, 2 three pointers and 5 of 9 free throws during the game.

Parker Vaith added 7. Blooming Prairie fell to 3-0 overall while Hayfield improved their record to 7-1.

Blooming Prairie’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 21 at 7:15pm versus Hayfield. Hayfield will host Bethlehem Academy on Thursday Dec. 27 at 5:30pm.
