Hayfield Vikings defeat Mabel-Canton Cougars 70-60 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Hayfield’s Mason Tapp led all scorers with 25 points as the Vikings beat Mabel-Canton Cougars 70-60 in a game at Mabel.

Tapp’s points came on 4 field goals, 2 three pointers and 11 of 12 free throws during the game.

Drew Wyffels added 14. while Hayfield improved their record to 1-0.

Hayfield will travel to Grand Meadow on Saturday Dec. 1 at 1:30pm to play Grand Meadow.
