Morrison’s points came on 1 field goal, 1 three pointer and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Donnie Burress added 0. Virginia fell to 1-0 overall while Deer River improved their record to 1-0.

Virginia’s next game is scheduled to be played at eveleth on Friday Jan. 4 at 5:15pm versus Eveleth Gilbert. Deer River will travel to on Tuesday Dec. 4 at 5:15pm to play Aitkin.
