Virginia Blue Devils beat Mesabi East Giants 72-54 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Virginia’s Jayden Bernard led all scorers with 29 points as the Blue Devils beat Mesabi East Giants 72-54 in a game at Virginia High School.

Bernard’s points came on 7 field goals, 2 three pointers and 9 of 11 free throws during the game.

Hunter Hannuksala added 14. while Virginia improved their record to 3-1.

Mesabi East’s next game is scheduled to be played at Lakeview Christian Academy on Friday Dec. 14 at 1:15pm versus Lakeview Christian Academy. Virginia will travel to eveleth on Friday Jan. 4 at 5:15pm to play Eveleth Gilbert.
