Le Sueur Henderson Shooting Guard Burke Nesbit led the way with 18 points as the Giants beat Belle Plaine Tigers 63-60 in a game at Le Sueur.

Nesbit’s points came on 2 field goals, 3 three pointers and 5 of 7 free throws during the game.

Alex Meger added 14. Belle Plaine fell to 0-1 overall while Le Sueur Henderson improved their record to 5-7.

Belle Plaine’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 25 at 5:30pm versus Le Sueur Henderson. Le Sueur Henderson will travel to Cleveland on Monday Jan. 28 at 5:15pm to play Cleveland .
