Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg Forward Gage Thorson led all scorers with 19 points as the Fighting Saints beat Yellow Medicine East Sting 79-39 in a game at Granite Falls, MN.

Thorson’s points came on 9 field goals and 1 of 4 free throws during the game.

Cody Dahlager added 18. Yellow Medicine East fell to 0-2 overall while Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg improved their record to 1-2.

Yellow Medicine East’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Jan. 26 versus Lac Qui Parle Valley. Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg will host Canby on Monday Jan. 25
