Mankato East Cougars edges Winona Winhawks 73-68 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Mankato East’s Jax Madson led all scorers with 37 points as the Cougars beat Winona Winhawks 73-68 in a game.

Madson’s points came on 5 field goals, 5 three pointers and 12 of 15 free throws during the game.

B Bittle added 0. Winona fell to 1-1 overall while Mankato East improved their record to 12-1.

Mankato East will travel to on Tuesday Jan. 29 at 5:30pm to play Owatonna.
