Mankato East Cougars cruises by Albert Lea Tigers 75-48 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Mankato East Guard Joich Gong led all scorers with 22 points as the Cougars beat Albert Lea Tigers 75-48 in a game at Albert Lea, MN.

Gong’s points came on 4 field goals, 4 three pointers and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Scherff added 10. Albert Lea fell to 0-2 overall while Mankato East improved their record to 16-3.

Mankato East will travel to on Tuesday Feb. 19 at 5:30pm to play Mayo.
